INTA invites you to a one-hour online conference exploring the links between housing, urban crises, health and human dignity, through international perspectives.

Speakers

• Professor Ole B. Jensen studies human behaviour in transport and urban spaces. He has a broad academic background, having trained as a sociologist, followed by a PhD in urban planning, a PhD in technology, and a professorship in mobility and urban planning. Throughout his career, he has consistently collaborated with specialists from disciplines other than his own — in perfect alignment with the interdisciplinary nature of his research.

• Professor Husam AlWaer holds the Chair in the Department of Urban Planning at the University of Dundee, UK. Husam is an award-winning author whose publications cover a wide range of topics, from architecture, urban planning and sustainability to practices supporting place-making projects and the evaluation of their outcomes.

Program highlights

Together, we will examine how urban design choices shape mobility, accessibility and social justice in our cities. This session will open a discussion on how urban planners and designers can better address issues of equity and accessibility in practice.

INTA vous invite à une visio-conférence d'1 heure, consacrée aux liens entre logement, crises urbaines, santé et dignité humaine, à travers des regards internationaux croisés.

Intervenants

• Professeur Ole B. Jensen, étudie le comportement des personnes lors des transports et dans les espaces urbains. Il possède une vaste formation académique, a été formé en sociologue, suivi d'un doctorat en urbanisme, d'un doctorat en technologie et d'une chaire en mobilité et urbanisme. Tout au long de sa carrière, il a constamment collaboré avec des spécialistes issus de discipline autres que la sienne — en parfaite cohérence avec la nature interdisciplinaire de ses recherches.

• Professeur Husam AlWaer, est titulaire de la Chaire du département de l’aménagement urbain à l’Université de Dundee, Royaume-Uni. Husam est un auteur primé dont les publications couvrent un large éventail de sujets, de l'architecture, de l'urbanisme, de la durabilité ainsi qu’aux pratiques d’accompagnement des projets de fabrication des lieux et à l’évaluation de leurs résultats.
