The University of McGill in Montreal INTA Initiative partner for Habitat III.
Reporting session on April 13 2016 in Montreal.
After the Fontys University of Tilburg in the Netherlands, it was the turn of students from McGill (urban geography section) to think about the urban future and give their vision of the urban agenda for the next 20 years.
Thus, since early January, on the initiative of a student in Urban Geography and International Relations and under the supervision of Professor Sarah Moser (specialist in urban studies) a dozen of students start working on the major issues of urban development, possible breakthrough and policy options open for decisions makers.
A reporting session was held at McGill in the presence and with the participation of two INTA Vice Presidents -Robert Olivier who is on his land and Rémi Feredj who also come for the Congress of the Canadian Housing Association. Two representatives of the City of Montreal INTA, an INTA member, participated in the discussions that followed.
The contribution of Mc Gill will appear in the summary documents of our Initiative INTA for Habitat III.
Thank you to Professor Sarah Moser and Elise Soulier for their involvement.
