Guinea's Capital joins the programme
First city to get involved
The five municipalities making up the capital of Guinea are committed with INTA for the implementation of the program "Pilot Healthy Places", which makes Conakry the first city where this program will be implemented. This partnership will be carried out through the Guinean Office of Consulting, Organization and Studies (BGECO).
The Guinean capital has more than 2 million inhabitants, and includes a vast territory (450km2) which extends on the peninsula of Kaloum (picture above) and the islands of Loos.
The Governorate of the city of Conakry has expressed interest in the approach of international panels proposed by INTA and hopes that this programme will be a lever for dissemination of practices and health feedback to the people of Conakry.
This page will be updated with more information on the partnership progress.
