The ESSEC Business School Chair in Real Estate and Sustainable Development has launched the first edition of its ESSEC Grand Prix of the City of Solidarity and Responsible Real Estate, created with the support of the International Association of Francophone Mayors (AIMF), the Action Against Exclusion Foundation (FACE), the Paris City Council, the Greater Paris Metropolis (MGP), the Ministry of Territorial Cohesion and Relations with Local Authorities, the Société du Grand Paris (SGP), with the participation of the Association of Mayors of France (AMF), the Abbé Pierre Foundation, the Sustainable Building Plan, Solidarités Nouvelles pour l'Logement (SNL), UNIOPSS and the city of Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso).
The award is open to local authorities, associations, cooperatives, social landlords, citizens' groups, integration project management operators, social and solidarity economy actors and all private or public bearers of new initiatives to contribute to better urban living, especially in the face of the social and economic housing crisis and the environmental crisis.
7 prizes will be awarded as part of the ESSEC Grand Prix of the City of Solidarity and Responsible Real Estate:
- the Grand Paris Prize for Urban Solidarity Innovation
- the Urban Solidarity Innovation Prize
- the Solidarity Finance and Sustainable City Prize
- the Hospitality City Prize
- the Responsible Real Estate Prize
- the Innovative Habitat Prize
- the Francophone African City Solidarity and Sustainability special Prize
