Distrital Secretary of Habitat: Person in charge to direct, to coordinate and to control the functions of
Distrital Secretary of Habitat, besides the formulation of management policies of urban and rural
territory in sequence to increase the productivity of the urban ground, to guarantee the integral
development of the establishments and the operations and integral urban activities, to facilitate the
access from the population to a worthy house and to articulate the social and economic objectives of
territorial ordering and environmental protection.
Solid formation oriented to public subjects: Economist of Andes University with studies of Economic
Developing Masters of the same institution. Title Masters of Public Policies School of Michigan University
and option to Doctorate in Urban and Regional Planning of Michigan University.
Eleven years of labor experience in Direction charges: Distrital Secretary of Habitat, Planning Secretary
and Subsecretary of Bogotá Education; National Subdirector of Direct Interventions and Support to the
Familiar Well-being of the Colombian Institute of Familiar Well-being (ICBF); Director Advisor of
Colombian Institute for Promotion of Superior Education (ICFES) and the Colombian Institute of
Educative Credit and Technical Studies Abroad (ICETEX); Professor and Investigator of Colombian
Externado University, Michigan University  and Leadership Institute FES.   
Experience in public policies: with emphasis in formulation, execution and evaluation of social and public
services projects. Strengths in public management, finances, economic development and social policy.  
Deep knowledge of public institutionally and political dynamics.  
Experience in work with civic, communitarian and union organizations, as well as, with multilateral
international public and private organisms.  
Academic experience teaching and investigation.
