I am an architect, MA graduate of the Technion in Haifa, Israel. Dissertation topic: The Structure of master plans in Israel. I specialise in planning and designing urban projects, Architecture and Town Planning, in the Regional & Urban Design. I have over 28 years experience in planning, supervising, and implementing architectural projects and urban planning, including public planning work, as well as experience in teaching Architecture and design.
Currently I am deputy chief engineer and manager of the building permissions department at the Municipality of Holon.
During the years 1997 – 2006 I served as Chief planner of a regional planning & building comission in central Israel, and was responsible for consolidating planning policy of the local authorities that comprised the commission, and for licensing and supervision issues within the region. I was involved in infrastructure projects - the trans-Israel highway, Israel Railway, and the natural gas pipeline.
During the years 1990 – 1999 I was head of the department of Architecture & Design and chairman of the pedagogic committee at Meimad Visual Arts College in Tel Aviv.
My responsibilities included developing academic curricula; fostering the academic sphere in tandem with the Open University; planning practical-engineering studies in conjunction with the Education and Labour ministries; teaching and lecturing staff and external relationships.
During the years 1987 - 1997 I owned a planning & design office.
The office specialised in project planning in a range of areas.
The office also processed submissions to planning commissions, and receiving building permits
