Marek Bryx, full Professor
Head of Corporate Finance & Investment Institute, Deputy Rector of Warsaw School of Economics (2008-) responsible for development of the University and transformation of the SGH campus into a public and multifunctional learning space.
Member of the Scientific Council of the biggest scientific project of urban regeneration processes called “Polish Cities Revitalization as the way for preservation of material and intellectual heritage”(2007-2010); Chairman of Scientific Committee of Postgraduate Studies “Management and Financing Urban Regeneration Processes”(2011-12). Head of Polish part of SATURN project.
Author of over 200 scientific publications, including a dozen or so concerning towns regeneration.
Since 2002 connected to INTA; Adviser to the INTA’s President in 2003–2008;2013- Member of the Board (2008-2013); active participant in INTA’s congresses, missions and panels. Juror in a competition called “Idea for Action”, Kaohsiung 2009.
Previously: Adviser to the President of Poland, Under Secretary of State in the Ministry of Infrastructure; President of State Office for Housing and Urban Development, Director of Warsaw Office for UN-Habitat Program, member of Boards of Directors or Board of Managements at many corporations.
